Terms of Use

What this site is

KC Volts is a free referral service connecting homeowners with licensed, insured electricians serving Kansas City and nearby areas. The electrician performs the work and may pay a referral fee. You pay only the electrician.

No contractor relationship with us

KC Volts does not perform electrical work and is not a licensed contractor. Any work is performed under a separate agreement between you and the contractor. The contractor is responsible for its own licensing, insurance, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, and warranties. Ask the electrician for a valid Missouri license and proof of insurance before work begins.

Information on this site

Prices, timelines, and electrical facts on this site are typical figures for the Kansas City area. They are not a quote or a guarantee. Your written quote from the contractor governs.

Your part

The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, PattenLABZ is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or from services performed by a contractor we refer. If the law does not allow that limit, our liability is capped at $100.
